ASTIER DE VILLATTE STORE OPENING ON RUE DE TOURNON

By Crash redaction

PARIS – ASTIER DE VILLATTE OPENS ITS SECOND STORE ON RUE DE TOURNON 75006

Astier de Villatte was founded in 1996 by Ivan Pericoli and Benoit Astier de Villatte and it is today one of the leading ateliers perpetuating the ceramic parisian craftsmanship of the 18th century. In 2000, the House opened its first iconic store on Rue Saint Honoré presenting a whole range of creations going from cutlery to typography-printed notebooks. In 2008 Astier de Villatte launched its first collection of scented objects including the iconic candles collection inspired by cities around the world. This Spring, the House opened its second store at 16, Rue de Tournon in an ancient library with cube-printed tiling that reminds us of the House’s notebooks. In the back, stained-glass windows are signed by painter Pierre Carron, famous for his work at Orléans cathedral. The new Astier de Villatte address is more oriented on perfumery and stationary objects. For this special occasion, three new Eaux de Cologne were created to celebrate the Rue de Tournon new store: Splash Orange Amère, Elixir du Dr. Flair et Grand Chalet. The latter perfectly embodies the House’s spirit through lime tree notes. Tribute to Balthus painter and his Chalet in the Swiss-Alps, the fragrance is an unique essence that smoothly introduce us the House’s new venue.
