AUDI TALENTS AWARDS: MUSIC, MOVIES, DESIGN AND CONTEMPORARY ART FOR THE TENTH EDITION

Since its creation in 2007, the Audi Talents Awards has recognized forty artists and produced forty cultural events. This tenth edition provides an occasion to celebrate ten years of cultural support. This season, the jury composed of experts such as José-Manuel Gonçalves, Constance Guisset, Mathieu Kassovitz, Patrice Lamothe, Jérôme Ruskin, and Jean-Baptiste De Laubier recognized four emerging artists: the duo of Raphaël Pluvinage and Marion Pinaffo for the Papier Machine design project, Theodora Barat for Learning from New Jersey – a multifaceted creation which cleverly mixes video, photography, and film – Romain Benitez for his musical project Infinite, and Jérôme Blanquet for the synopsis of his movie Alteration. To celebrate these ten years of cultural support, a special artistic space was created in Paris: the Audi Talents Gallery, which is offering free admission so everyone can discover the art on display. From now until May 2017, it will present five exhibitions, beginning with an inaugural exhibition : Topiques : l’eau, l’air, la lumière et la ville d’Isabelle Daëron, running from October 25 to November 16. The exhibition will present videos, drawings, and urban objects that employ wind, water, and sunbeams. This year’s edition is a huge step forward for the Audi Talents program, demonstrating that Audi is more committed to culture than ever before.
