BACKSTAGE AT DIOR HOMME SPRING-SUMMER 2016 PARIS
By Crash redaction
Kris Van Assche presented his latest collection for Dior Homme today at the Paris Tennis Center. The house was packed with the creme de la creme of fashion, namely fellow designers and creative minds Raf Simons and Karl Lagerfeld, both seating in the front row. The set was one of the most beautiful of the season: a labynrinth of white flowers created triangular shapes which led the way for the models, while a spectacular mirror reflected the flowery vision and gave an impression of infinite beauty. The collection had that nice retro touch, mainly with the knitted jumpers with diamond-shaped details, while the multitude of shiny zippers on tailored jackets and flare pants gave the whole that undeniable modern quality. Colors like red and bright yellow were to be found on polo shirts and leather coats. Finally, flowers were taken from the runway onto beautiful embroideries on the final white bomber jacket that closed the show giving the audience a feeling of new beginnings.
