LOUIS VUITTON REVEALS TWO BRAND NEW OBJETS NOMADES ITEMS AT DESIGN MIAMI

Louis Vuitton chose Design Miami 2016 to unveil two brand new items from its Objets Nomades collection – a judicious choice as Design Miami is one of the biggest design events of the year. Indeed, the House conceived this collection as a range of design items in noble materials, all produced in collaboration with the most creative designers of our times, including Maarten Baas, Nendo, and Raw Edges. For its two newest additions to the collection, Louis Vuitton called on the Campana Brothers, who created “Fur Cocoon,” as well as Tokujin Yoshioka, who crafted the Blossom Stool. “My impression of Louis Vuitton is the quality and art of craftsmanship and manufacturing cultivated in the brand’s long history. I thought I would like to reinterpret the philosophy of Louis Vuitton to create a work which travels through the time of history and future.” Design enthusiasts can discover this new artistic initiative at the Design Miami fair.
