J.W.ANDERSON MEN’S FW17/18
As usual, the J.W.Anderson menswear fashion show was an infinite source of inspirations. It seems that men were just waking up and dressed up with what they found. No pyjamas but we smell the spirit of cozy loungewear clothes. Winter is coming and males definitely want to feel comfortable. Indeed, they wear extra-oversize pull-overs, unveil superpositions of clothes as three foulards in one for example. But feel cozy doesn’t mean being careless as demonstrated by patchworks colorful coats, fringed pull-overs, checked motives and a brand new version of the tapestry pattern, revisited on shirts, scarves and bags. A special crush for the orange and purple pull-over/poncho/scarf, fun and groundbreaker. In his city slippers, the J.W.Anderson man feel confortable, he just got out of bed but still keeps his English stylish charm. By the beats of the new-wave hit “Yazoo : Don’t Go”, the fashion show finale is a prowess with so many strong looks, voluminous pieces and colorful inspirations. Winter is here but the J.W.Anderson man is not going to have a breakdown for all that.
