JEAN NOUVEL AND CLAUDE PARENT EXHIBITION AT GALERIE AZZEDINE ALAÏA

By Crash redaction

JEAN NOUVEL / CLAUDE PARENT MUSÉES À VENIR EXHIBITION AT GALERIE AZZEDINE ALAÏA

This January the 13th, the Galerie Azzedine Alaïa celebrates the new year with an exhibition featuring eight unveiled museum projects by Jean Nouvel and Claude Parent, two of the most eminent contemporary French architects. The theme of the exhibition will be the concept and role of the museum in our society. With a total of four projects per architect and a retrospective including 45 years of work, Jean Nouvel and Claude Parent start a conversation marked by different creative approaches yet rewarding. The relation between the museum and the space, the environment and its artworks are deeply analyzed through different medias as a result of two different work methodologies: sketches, tridimensional images, mock-ups from Jean Nouvel and Claude Parent archives. Critic essays and curation fictional programs go along with each museum’s project, giving some imagery to the architects creations.

From January 14th to February 28th at Galerie Azzedine Alaïa / 18 rue de la Verrerie 75004 Paris 4e
