L’ŒIL DU POÈTE: AN ANIMATION SIGNED BY DIPTYQUE

DIPTYQUE HIGHLIGHTS ONE OF ITS FAMOUS FRAGRANCES WITH THE ANIMATION “L’ŒIL DU POÈTE”
Every year, Diptyque produces an animation to spotlight a portion of their collections and products. This year, the brand has chosen to highlight one of its most renowned fragrances: “L’Ombre dans l’Eau,” created in 1983 and soon celebrating its 35th anniversary. In addition, the house will also promote its candle named “Baies”: a scent wrapped in a chic black ceramic packaging.
For the occasion, the house has invited us to discover the animation in Diptyque shops starting in March 2017, just in time for spring. The animation sees the products placed in an enchanting atmosphere inspired by the fragrance: an elegant garden next to a river, where one might enjoy a nap under a peaceful tree. Inside the garden a swan drifts slowly through a pond dotted with flowers and water lilies to update the items on display, which feature an energetic and savage side, marked by blackcurrant leaf, blended with the elegant and refined delicacy of Bulgarian roses that compose the perfume. This March will also give enthusiasts of the brand a chance to rediscover a classic item: a new format for the Baies candle, now available in the 600-g size.
Titled “L’œil du poète,” the animation delivers a unique experience seen through the eyes of a poet, as each of the products receive lyric descriptions and narratives placed on the underside of the bottle. Dyptique’s intention is to make their loyal customers feel like they are hearing a romantic poem every time they wear the perfume. Starting in March, Dyptique invites you to visit its shops to discover and learn about its know-how in the world of perfumery.
