NEW ROMANTICS AT WOOYOUNGMI MEN’S A/W 2018

By Crash redaction

Spandau Ballet, Adam and the Ants, Roxy Music…Wooyoungmi delved into the energy of the end of the 70s/beginning of the 80s where the New Romantics danced to the sound of heavy synths, eyes full of black liner. Taking cues from the Blitz Kids, the collection was full of relaxed oversized shirts with pieces of fabric dangling from the sides, shoulder-padded blazers that hid the hands and amazing white pointed-toe boots. The models looked like they were about to play a rock show in a gritty club. The single drop earrings added the touch of glamorous androgyny needed to complete the look.

Take a look at our exclusive backstage photos of the show.
