A graduate of England’s prestigious Central Saint Martins in London, young designer Molly Goddard has emerged incontestably with genius, elegance and refinement as the new talent on the British fashion scene. Winning numerous awards like the Emerging Talent category at the British Fashion Awards 2016, her minute and sumptuous work takes us on a journey back into the art of avant-garde costume that combines aesthetic beauty and perfect technical mastery. Yesteryear’s dresses never looked so modern as under the expert hand of Molly Goddard, who offers up a silhouette in which past and present join hands to hug the form of today’s woman. On July 7, Goddard had the honor of presenting some of her creations in the Sainsbury Gallery of the illustrious Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A), known for its immense and unique collection of dresses from around the world.
