Tommy Hilfiger New York: Men’s SS16 collection
First London, then New York. Yesterday in the Big Apple, Tommy Hilfiger presented once again his men’s Tailored SS16 collection during the first ever New York Men’s Fashion Week. The presentation was held in “The Glasshouses” located in the penthouse of the Chelsea Arts Tower. Hundreds of industry influencers were present to rediscover a very sporty yet always elegant collection, with a view on the city skyline as a little extra. As Hilfiger says, “The Tommy Hilfiger Tailored Spring/Summer 2016 collection is inspired by a glamorous island hopping holiday in the 1950s – when making a journey stylish was just as important as the destination itself”. The collection is a true reinterpretation of classic suiting for summertime, and takes us on a trip starting from Honolulu. Though being a tailoring collection, it is all about ease and movement, a quality that resonates with global brand ambassador Rafael Nadal. With a tropical island-inspired set came a tennis-dedicated corner where TH Flex Rafael Nadal Edition suits were also presented. Crash photographer Tyler Nevitt gives you a glimpse at the presentation under the sign of athletic elegance.
