The blue chosen in that exquisite piece of jewelry was not a coincidence as Khouri explains: « I chose blue sapphires for this piece as blue in many cultures is associated with hope, peace and protection. I hope that my donation will help Doctors Without Borders protect healthcare workers all over the world. »
