BACKSTAGE AT TORY BURCH SPRING-SUMMER 2016 NEW YORK

The backstage beauty of the Tory Burch Spring Summer 2016 show

American designer Tory Burch is well-known for her « boho-chic » style and the effortlessness she brings into her designs. The Tory Burch Spring Summer 2016 collection is very much the perfect representation of that aesthetic, still in a new, 2016 way. On this seventh day of New York Fashion Week, the designer presented yet another fresh-looking, young, and vibrant collection that is the closest representation to what could be expected from a summer line. Light fabrics give the garments an incredible sense of fluidity, and the colors – from pastel blue to vibrant orange – are enhanced by beautifully made embellishments. Fringes are a staple of Tory Burch’s collections, and they come in many ways: at the hem of a tube dress with white and blue stripes, on the sleeves of an elegant poncho accessorized with a white pair of shorts, or even in two tones on large and mini bags. This is a collection where every details counts. From the embroideries to the jewelry, Tory Burch has managed to create an universe that is hers and which will always remain recognizable. The styling of the collection is also a success: the jewelry have something of the earth, as if they came from stone found on an abandoned beach or in the deep sees. They contribute telling a story, the one of a girl of the world who loves to travel and who is just on her way to go for a dip in some beautiful cove somewhere around the globe.
