CHANEL FW25 WOMEN RTW COLLECTION

By Iris JEANSON

Chanel’s Fall-Winter 2025/2026 Ready-to-Wear collection, imagined by the Creation Studio, plays with scale, proportion, and perception. Set under the Grand Palais’ glass roof, scenographer Willo Perron’s ribbon installation provides a surreal stage for silhouettes that surprise: mini jackets paired with extra-long trousers, cape-jackets, and coat-like blouses.

The collection reinterprets Chanel’s iconic signatures : bows, ribbons, pearls, and flowers, in a playful game of contrasts. Bows bloom in all sizes, from collars and cuffs to ankles and shoulders. Oversized pearls turn into heels and oversized accessories, while jewels adorned with rhinestone embrace maximalism.

Layering amplifies the illusion: A wrap skirt on a pair of flared trousers in grenadine tweed or a skirt buttoned over a tunic and trousers in bronze hues and finally a long ivory slit skirt topped with a miniskirt. The layering balances out with looks in transparency. The uses of tulle and the lines of the silhouette are superimposed and create movement.

A touch of poetic femininity flows on the chiffon jeans, tweed-like silk, and wind-swept ribbon prints. Finishing touches include sock-ankle boots, removable ruffle collars, lace trenches, and 3D floral knits. The collection sets a fantasy where Chanel’s heritage meets illusion and imagination.
