CRASH PARTY : AN ELECTRIC NIGHT AT PALAIS DE TOKYO

By Iris JEANSON

In the light of Crash 104 ‘The Art Issue’ release, an electrifying evening unfolded at the iconic Palais de Tokyo on Thursday, December 12th, 2024. Hosted by Les Amis du Palais de Tokyo and the Tokyo Art Club, the event brought together members, friends, and family for an unforgettable night of art, performance, and revelry.

The Tokyo Art Club room, steeped in the rich history of Parisian contemporary art, provided the perfect setting. A space that has long been a meeting point for artists and visionaries, sets the stage for a night where art and fashion seamlessly intertwined. The evening pulsated with energy, thanks to the mesmerizing performances of Les Nuits Bas Nylon dancers, led by the enigmatic Jean Biche, who captivated guests with their theatrical and avant-garde gig.

As guests sipped on exotic cocktails courtesy of Don Julio, they were immersed in the performances of Angèle Micaux, Aurélien Vieillard, Sophie Hélard, Mara de Nudée, and Jade Aube who lent their talents to the evening. Meanwhile, the beats of DJ Valérie Aka Vetiver infused the air with an irresistible rhythm. The night was a vibrant tribute to artistic expression, pushing boundaries and celebrating the essence of creation.

A special thanks to Les Amis du Palais de Tokyo, Bas Nylon, and Don Julio for their support in making this electrifying event possible. Remember this night as an ode to the power of art, the thrill of performance, and the enduring influence of Crash Magazine on the contemporary cultural landscape.
