GUCCI LAUNCHES THEIR ‘BRIGHT DIAMANTE’ PREFALL 2014 CAMPAIGN ONLINE

Gucci’s ‘Bright Diamond’ Prefall 2014 campaign is launched online in the form of a short film. Created in London, the film depicts the vibrant colours and energy of the latest in Gucci’s leather handbags the collection. Named for the iconic design and contemporary pattern, the Diamante pattern expresses the many facets of the diamond shape. The Diamante bag first appeared in the 1930s, but this season Gucci revives this classic with their embossed leather version for both handbags and luggage for men and women.

With a GeRM Remix by Emika of the song « Double Eagle », the film turns and moves through squares of bright, solid colours much like a Rubik’s Cube. Yellow, cobalt blue, red, turquoise and white give a slight preview into the leather bags to be found in Gucci’s next season. The collection features bags from shoulder, to bucket, wallets, to « bowling » bags and Boston models. The collection also consists of a range of baggage items such as duffel bags, trunks, and suitcases on wheels, all in a vast range of colours to provide the opportunity for individual expression.
