IKEA+ PARIS 2024: A CULTURAL EXPERIENCE

By Iris Jeanson

From February 29 to March 3, 2024, 28 Rue de Lappe, Paris, will play host to IKEA+, a unique event fusing art, culture, and culinary delights. Coinciding with Paris Fashion Week, this experience promises a vibrant exploration of self-expression and representation across various domains, including music, art, design, fashion, and home life.

Central to IKEA+’s allure is the « Life at Home » exhibition, a collaboration with photographer Annie Leibovitz. Capturing the essence of home life globally, Leibovitz’s series of 25 authentic portraits reveals a universal sentiment: 48% of people feel their home lives are inadequately portrayed in the media.

Adding to the excitement, IKEA will unveil its Tesammans collection, a groundbreaking collaboration with Raw Color, exploring the emotional impact of color in the home. The program includes over 30 live performances by artists like Andy4000 and Kiddy Smile, broadcast on Rinse.fm.

Complementing the artistic showcase are workshops, talks, and a gastronomic experience. A restaurant on the first floor will serve up a fusion of French bistro and IKEA classics, while Casa93, an alternative fashion school, showcases six unique projects blending IKEA’s decorative accessories with textile expertise.

Don’t miss the chance to immerse yourself in the creative energy of IKEA+ – a celebration of art, culture, and innovation in the heart of Paris.
