DVF APPOINTS JONATHAN SAUNDERS

There are some big changes coming for Diane Von Furstenberg. The House announced today the appointment of London designer Jonathan Saunders as Chief Creative Director, a newly created position that places him at the top of the creative chain in the DVF empire. Effective immediately, Saunders will be responsible for the overall creative direction of the Diane Von Furstenberg brand. Jonathan Saunders is without a doubt a perfect fit for the House. After launching his eponymous label in 2003, the designer gained the industry’s respect with his incredible use of colors and prints, as well as his approach to craftsmanship. His expertise and youth-oriented vision are going to be strong assets for his new position at Diane Von Furstenberg, the iconic ready-to-wear House known for being every woman’s best ally. Commenting on the appointment, Diane Von Furstenberg herself described Saunders as the « perfect creative force to lead DVF into the future. » We can’t wait to discover his DVF woman very soon…
