JUN JI-HYUN FOR BURBERRY

Burberry has announced Korean actress Jun Ji-hyun as their latest ambassador. Their first female Korean-based ambassador, the multi-award winning actress’ most notable projects, include Netflix zombie thriller, Kingdom: Ashin from the North, and Assassination – which was the highest-grossing Korean film of 2015. Her awards include the 35th Baeksang Arts Award for Best New Actress and 50th Baeksang Arts Award Grand Prize as well as multiple prizes at the Grand Bell Awards.

« It is a great honour to be announced as Burberry’s ambassador. Burberry is known as a brand with a rich history and traditions and aims to innovate in line with our ever-changing times, which is what I am trying to convey to the audience as an actor. The timeless elegance of Burberry inspires me greatly, I look forward to working closely with the time-honoured house and carefully collaborating together, » said Jun Ji-hyun.

Founded in 1856, the British luxury brand has been a longtime champion of cinema, and counts Thai actor, Bright Vachirawit and Adam Driver among their other ambassadors.
