LOUIS VUITTON UNVEILS THE PRE-FALL 2019 A-LIST CAMPAIGN

Talk about having an A-list casting! Louis Vuitton has just come out with its pre-fall 2019 campaign and it features stunning photographs of seventeen powerful women from cinema, music and fashion. Here’s what Nicolas Ghesquière had to say on the campaign: « These women embrace the various personalities that embody fashion at Louis Vuitton. Be they stars or new faces, all of them share the same willpower, and confidence in their choices, and the same time, reflect the eclecticism of the female identity. »

The collection in itself is a mix of urban and rural with structured leather pieces entwined with romantic flowy garments fit for the countryside. Flannel meets leather, floral blends with fearless animal print. The look is eclectic and unexpected. There’s a bit of sharp tailoring clashing with slouchy volumes and an amazing sequin coat. Tartan print is everywhere from jackets to sweaters in a range of rainbow colors. There’s also a brand new version of the iconic monogram: the Monogram Giant, seen on the Boite Chapeau and the Cannes bags.
