This year the 9th edition of the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers confirms once again its success and international significance with more than 1900 applicants from all over the world. Twenty designers were selected to move on to the semi-finals representing a wide range of diverse cultures and talents. The semi-finalists will present their collections and their creative universe during a show room in Paris form the 4th to the 5th of March. The international Experts, made up of specialists of the fashion world, will then select the 8 finalists. Form the 4th to the 9th of March the semi-finalists work will be available to view on with the option to vote for your favorite designer.

The winner of the LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers will receive 300 000 euro and will benefit for a year from the mentorship of a dedicated LVMH team.

The Karl Lagerfeld Prize awards another young designer with 150 000 euros and a year of mentorship as well.

The Prize distinguishes three 2022 graduates of fashion schools with 10 000 euros each and gives them the opportunity to work in the creative studio of one of the fashion houses of the group LVMH for a year. Applications for The Prize are open until the 15th of March, 2022 at
