MARNI FLOWER MARKET CELEBRATES THE HOUSE’S 20TH ANNIVERSARY

By Crash redaction

On September 21st, during Milan Fashion Week, Marni launched the Marni Flower Market, an event set to celebrate the House’s 20st anniversary. Initiated by Carolina Castiglioni, Special Projects Creative Director at Marni, the Marni Flower Market took place in the Rotonda della Besana in Milan. This baroque building enclosing a garden and a beautiful church was the perfect venue to represent Creative Director Consuelo Castiglioni’s love for flowers, colors and the Italian local culture, all of which can be found in a flower market. The Marni Flower Market was designed with the artistic collaboration of Stefano Rabolli Pansera and gave the visitors the opportunity to wander through the paths created in the Rotonda while creating their bouquets with the help of especially designed Marni Flower Market shopping bags. In addition to the flowers, Marni gave a great bunch of items for sale, such as vase holders with iconic Marni prints or Japanese porcelain pots containing seeds of flowers, and of course, new editions of the Marni animal sculptures. In collaboration with the Museo dei Bambini di Milano (MUBA), Marni organized workshops for children to participate in. A great way for the Italian House to reaffirm its support to charities: a part of the sales were donated to The Vimala Association. Happy birthday Marni!
