MICHAEL KORS HELPS FIGHT WORLD HUNGER

Michael Kors is named UN World Food Programme Ambassador and is joined by Kate Hudson

Michael Kors has good news to spread. In addition to having help deliver over 10 million meals to children in need around the world with the United Nations Food Programme (WFP), Michael Kors has had the honor of being named a United Nations World Food Programme Global Ambassador Against Hunger in recognition of his philanthropic efforts. At his side, Golden Globe-winning actress Kate Hudson joins him to help fight world hunger. In 2013, Michael Kors launched the Watch Hunger Stop campaign, marking a long-lasting relationship between the brand and WFP which goal is to eradicate the hunger issue. One watch sold equals a hundred nutritious meals delivered to children in need. The bar of 10 millions meals has been reached with the support of Michael Kors’ fans, who enabled donation through social media campaign, or directly donated in the Michael Kros retail stores. « I’m very proud that through our Watch Hunger Stop campaign we’ve helped WFP deliver over 10 million meals to children in need.
