Swarovski Creators Lab is the brainchild of a brand with a rich history of collaboration in the world’s of art, film, theatre, music, and more. It’s an evolution of an ambition that roots it’s values in the enhancement of the many facets of modern culture. Debuting this November with iconic global sportswear brand, Nike; Creators Lab will see a reveal of key brand partnerships and collaborations as the countdown to the holiday season begins.

Brands such as Amina Muaddi, F.A.O. Schwarz, MA®KET, Nike, and more will offer limited-edition, highly collectible pieces in fashion, décor, and accessories – each available online via the Swarovski Creators Lab page, on respective partner sites, or in one of two physical locations in Zurich and Paris. The Swarovski Creators Lab will pilot in USA, UK, France, Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Australia, with global rollouts following in 2022.

« Creators Lab is a platform that feels entirely organic for Swarovski. We have always helped to ignite the dreams of those who work with us, so this feels like a natural expansion of how we champion creativity and support the fellow artistic endeavors of some of the world’s most iconic brands.” says CEO (ad interim) Michele Molon.

The first in the series of collaborations Swarovski and Nike launch a first-of-its-kind sneaker, the Nike Women’s Air Force 1 LXX with Swarovski® Retroreflective Crystals.

“Swarovski and Nike have been creating covetable and innovative products together for five years now. We are great collaborators bringing the best out of one another and proving how a collaboration between creative partners elevates both to new heights.” says Molon.

Inspired by road reflectors, the shoe is studded in over 228 individual crystals which were created exclusively for Nike. These Swarovski Crystal elements work together to make the Air Force 1 beam as bright as the light source around it. The highly expressive shroud covering the shoe, available in triple white and triple black, is modular and all 4 pieces can be removed individually or altogether using the included screwdriver for customization.

“With all our Swarovski sneaker partnerships we had a lot of fun exploring the edges of what’s possible for shine, reflectivity, and embellishment through advanced design, development and manufacturing. This AF1 takes that to the next level by incorporating our most challenging reflective development to date with generative design and modularity to get to a really fresh look and update to the AF1” says Marie Crow, Senior Creative Director, Footwear Women’s Lifestyle at Nike.

World renowned choreographer, Parris Goebel fronts the campaign for the collaboration. Known for her work for the Savage X Fenty shows and Jennifer Lopez’s 2020 Super Bowl halftime performance and Justin Bieber’s ‘Sorry’ music video, she’s a choreographer to the stars and a star in her own right. Available exclusively through the Nike SNKRS app, the shoe launches on November 18, 2021.
