The 33rd edition of the Hyères Festival which takes place every year in the south of France at the villa Noailles starts today and will take place through Monday. The festival, which celebrates emerging talents in fashion, photography and accessories, has been an incredible stepping stone for young designers like Felipe Oliveira Baptista, Anthony Vaccarello, Léa Peckre and more recently, Vanessa Schindler . This year ten aspiring fashion designers, photographers and accessory makers will present their work in front of a prestigious jury composed of Haider Ackermann, Bettina Rheims, Christelle Koché and many more!
Parallel to the competition, the Villa Noailles is also hosting a collective exhibition where we had the opportunity to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Crash with archive photos from past issues. We’ve selected some of the most striking shots taken by photographers like Sarah Moon, Hans Fuhrer, Karl Lagerfeld and Julien D’Ys. The exhibition is displayed from today through the 26th of May.
