Alexander McQueen launches a new film by director and artist Sophie Muller, featuring the new Sprint Runner sneaker worn by singer and dancer Mettenarrative. A sleek, modern take on a classic running sneaker, the Alexander McQueen Sprint Runner was first seen on the Spring/Summer 2022 runway. It has a white metal-free leather upper with laces and an exaggerated rubber sole. Available in all white with a white counter heel or white with a contrasting black leather counter heel and in seasonal colors reflecting the men’s and women’s ready-to-wear palette, all are adorned with a signature Alexander McQueen and three-dimensional McQueen seal. Mettenarrative is a dancer, actress and musician. After touring with Pharrell Williams, she made a name for herself in the video for Lemon by N.E.R.D., with Rihanna. She has appeared as an actress in Hustlers and in The Old Guard and as of 2019 and throughout the pandemic, Mette has focused her talents on songwriting. Discover the sneaker and the full clip below.
