THE PRELIMINARY NYFW SEPTEMBER 2022 SCHEDULE

The Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) is pleased to release the preliminary official New York Fashion Week (NYFW) schedule in partnership with IMG’s NYFW: The Shows. Proenza Schouler will kick off the week on Friday, September 9, and the Tom Ford show will close the week on the evening of Wednesday, September 14, 2022.

The preliminary schedule features over 109 confirmed designers, including returning brands Altuzarra, Barragan, Batsheva, Brandon Maxwell, Carolina Herrera, Christian Siriano, Coach, Deveaux New York, Dion Lee, Eckhaus Latta, Gabriela Hearst, Interior, Jason Wu, Jonathan Simkhai, KHAITE, Kim Shui, LaQuan Smith, LUAR, Maisie Wilen, Markarian, Maryam Nassir Zadeh, Michael Kors, Peter Do, Prabal Gurung, Sergio Hudson, Studio 189, Theophilio, Tory Burch, Victor Glemaud and Willy Chavarria. Tommy Hilfiger, AREA, and PUMA return to NYFW after a hiatus. First-time additions to the schedule’s in-person activations include AnOnlyChild, ASHLYN, Heron Preston, Foo and Foo, Midnight Studios, ONE/OF by Patricia Voto, and Tia Adeola.

The CFDA is delighted to welcome international brands Fendi, Marni and COS to the week, a testament to our city’s increasing appeal as a destination for international brands wanting to connect to New York City’s culture and the vast market opportunity with American consumers. This year’s CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund finalists Fe Noel, Sukeina, No Sesso, Elena Velez, Judy Turner, Wiederhoeft and BlackBoyKnits also join the week with collection showcases. The in-person shows will take place in accordance with New York State Health Guidelines and best practices can be found through CFDA’s upcoming Covid-19 Health & Safety Memo. Spring Studios and NYFW.com will continue to be the central hub for NYFW: The Shows. The shows and presentations will continue to be presented via Runway360, CFDA’s centralized digital hub and business tool to support American fashion brands’ collection releases year-round.
