THOM BROWNE OPENS ITS DOORS IN ST. TROPEZ

By Crash redaction

Thom Browne has announced the opening of its first retail footprint in France at private members club EPI in Saint-Tropez. Thom Browne continues his collaboration with architect Flavio Albanese of ASA Studioalbanese on the design of the Thom Browne Tennis Pro Shop, which includes hallmarks of Thom Browne’s signature style in a reinterpreted vision for the resort minded EPI. Located at 1128 Route de L’Epi, 83350 Ramatuelle along the beach in Saint-Tropez at private members club EPI, the 500-square foot space neighbors some of Saint-Tropez’s most prominent restaurants and luxury resorts.

Behind Thom Browne’s signature Venetian blind-covered windows, is a reinterpreted interior inspired by resort. Outlined in gray subway tiles, the Tennis Pro Shop mimics the Miami flagship in lighter tones to compliment the surrounding atmosphere of EPI’s minimalist wellness and sport inspired retreat. From door-to-door a red, white, and blue subway tile stripe connects the resort to a private sitting area for store guests. Thom continues to outfit this space with mid-century furniture by American and French designers—including Dunbar by Edward Wormley, Paul McCobb, Jacques Adnet and Pierre Jeanerette throughout. Thom Browne’s signature ready-to-wear, tailoring and accessories are displayed alongside limited-edition EPI branded Thom Browne goods, which will continue to be developed in new iterations every season. Sharing EPI’s vision for privacy and exclusivity, the Thom Browne Tennis Pro Shop is by appointment only.
