VESTIAIRE COLLECTIVE LAUNCHES A MANIFESTO ON CIRCULAR FASHION

By Crash

Vestiaire Collective has just launched a video campaign promoting circular fashion, a manifesto for all the fashion activists out there who want to make a change in their consumption habits. Aja Barber, Venetia LaManna and Dan Pontarlier, pioneers of slow fashion, are all portrayed with powerful slogans like : « Fashion is not a race » or « Slow the pace ». New generations love fashion as much as they want to preserve their environment and it’s these young souls that give us the keys to change. It’s about buying less and wearing clothes that have previously been loved and cherished. Fashion trends don’t have to lead to a mountain of waste, that’s what a circular model is all about.

« The film emphasizes the ethical nature of Vestiaire Collective and encourages consumers to join its community of Fashion Activists. Throughout the video, we see the global community come alive through the exchange of pieces. The video advocates circularity with original, creative and thoughtful sequences, all perfectly connected to each other. Movement and color are essential to bring circularity to life, and we hope that this dynamic image will help promote a more promising, vibrant and circular future. » declared the campaign director Sophie Jones.
