LACOSTE’S 80TH ANNIVERSARY

For it’s 80th anniversary, Lacoste has teamed up with several prestigious french houses, nine to be more precise in order to create unique products as a tribute to the brand. Each house has been invited to show their craftsmanship and know-how to celebrate the 80th brand’s anniversary and the result is quite amazing!

 

 

HERMES

Hermès, the french house known for its expertise and techniques has offered the brand a crocodile LACOSTE tennis bag paying tribute to the tennis champion René Lacoste who had once bet with his team captain that he would win the game in exchange of a suitcase made of crocodile skin. Eighty years later the legend remains!

 

 

BOUCHERON

First jeweler of the Place Vendôme, Boucheron created two exclusive brooches inspired by the Lacoste Crocodile. One set with diamonds and the other with emeralds. 

 

 

FAUCHON

Fauchon, ambassador of french gastronomy pays tribute to the brand with a pastry: an éclair entirely designed with the colors and logos of the brand.

 

GOYARD

Goyard, specialized in luggages has created a unique travel bag which combines both logos, the famous Lacoste’s crocodile and the chevron-patterned monogram of Goyard.

 

S.T DUPONT

S.T Dupond, famous for its craftsmanship pays hommage to the brand by creating a beautiful case perfectly adapted to tennis or golf sportsman. The case contains a lighter « Ligne 2 », two candles, a notebook and two pens: Elysée and Classique. 

 

VEUVE CLICQUOT

The Veuve Clicquot-Ponsardin house excelling in the art of champagne, pays tribute to the brand’s golf heritage by creating a unique special champagne trolley.

 

CRISTOFLE

Christofle, expert brand in French art de vivre has offered Lacoste an exclusive golf club in silver, as a hommage to the sport which has always been in the Lacoste family.

 

BACCARAt

Baccarat, specialized in crystal craftsmanship pays tribute to the brand and its values by creating a beautiful special crystal vase inspired by tennis and golf trophies.

 

Bernardaud

Bernardaud famous for its porcelain know-how created 27 colorful golf tees inspired from the large palette of LACOSTE poloshirts for the brand’s 80th anniversary.

 

These unique creations will be exposed in COLETTE store from June 9th until June 16th
