VERSACE PREFALL 2016 COLLECTION

VERSACE PREFALL 2016 REDEFINES STREETWEAR

For her pre-fall 2016 collection, Donatella Versace takes her fashion to the streets and offers an urban wardrobe for contemporary women. With impeccable cuts and an accentuated waistline, the Versace women feels empowered and has the looks that go with her independent mind. The collection is very structural, almost sculptural in the shapes. It is all about accentuating every woman’s femininity while adding strong features like the straight lines of the shoulders or the exaggerated sleeves on a bomber jacket and a revisited men’s shirt. Sportswear speaks a great deal in this collection, mainly in the choices of fabrics, which merges with the perfectly fitting tailoring pieces. Of course, it wouldn’t be a Versace collection without some sex appeal, which is conveyed by the short skirts and dresses with cut-outs, or this « bustier » dress recalling the armor of an ancient Greek goddess. Pure perfection.
