HAUSER & WIRTH CELEBRATES THE WORK OF GETA BRĂTESCU

By Crash

From October 22 to November 20, 2020, Hauser & Wirth celebrates the limitless influence of Geta Brătescu’s work on occasion of two exhibitions dedicated to Zurich. Hauser & Wirth Publishers collaborates with the Swiss fashion house Akris and its creative director Albert Kriemler to create a unique exhibition of materials from the archives of the house and especially selected by Kriemler. Indeed, Kriemler has been for a long time inspired by the work of Brătescu and has collaborated with the artist and Marian Ivan of the Ivan Gallery for the Akris Spring/Summer 2019 collection. The presentation also features the book designed by Brătescu and Hauser & Wirth Publishers in 2019, Game of Forms, officially launched on this occasion. In addition, Hauser & Wirth Rämistrasse presents _Geta Brătescu. The Gesture, The Drawing,_, a thoughtful selection of works on paper exploring the unique approach of the artist in terms of design, line and form, organized in collaboration with the Ivan Gallery.
