« Mogolu » translated to « the people » in Bambara, is a fusion of Afro beats and hypnotic melodies, blending tradition with modernity, with electronic elements, all carried by Mariam’s angelic voice. This single celebrates encounters, journeys, and differences, reflecting the duo’s longstanding message of peace. It also serves as a call to dance, promising to ignite lively and sun-soaked movements.

The music video, shot in the bustling energy of Dakar, is directed by the promising Ojoz (known for his work with Yamê, Damso, Disiz…) featuring the Tik Tok dancer Akamz.

« We had always dreamt of breaking down barriers and opening people’s ears to new sounds, of sharing Malian music with the world and having it appreciated, » explained Amadou & Mariam.
