ANN DEMEULEMEESTER UNVEILS « KIDS » : A CULTURAL PROJECT CELEBRATING CREATIVITY AND COMMUNITY

By Aicha NDIAYE

Ann Demeulemeester introduces its latest project, « KIDS, » a cultural initiative led by creative director Stefano Gallici. Representing a fusion of fashion, art, and community, « KIDS » emerges as a platform dedicated to emerging talent.

Shooted in London, Paris, and Berlin, “KIDS”stands as a testament to the brand’s enduring commitment to community building. It provides a canvas for emerging artists and collaborators to explore and express their ideas freely, underscoring the ethos of collaboration and creativity that defines the underground art scene.

The inaugural chapter of « KIDS » pays homage to the individuals who have influenced Gallici’s creative journey in crafting the debut SS24 collection. Among the diverse cast are musicians October Logan, Maresz Miciula, Edwin Tay, and M.N. Hempenius, poet Tim Gienke, sculptor Alexander Carey-Morgan, and tattoo artist Capucine Lepine.

For this project, the creative director delves into the lives and workspaces of these up-and-coming artists, capturing the essence of their creative processes. The result is a visual diary that serves as a tribute to the power of collaboration and artistic exploration.

With « KIDS, » Ann Demeulemeester invites you to join in celebrating the boundless creativity and collaborative spirit that define the brand’s ethos. Through this cultural project, the house reaffirms its dedication to fostering artistic expression and cultivating connections within the global creative community.
