BACKSTAGE AT THE DIOR HAUTE COUTURE SS24 FASHION SHOW BY MARIA GRAZIA CHIURI

By Aicha NDIAYE

Dior unveiled his Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2024 Collection this monday, at the Rodin Museum gardens in a space specially designed for the show.

Maria Grazia Chiuri worked with the Neapolitan artist Isabella Ducrot for the set of the show. Models paraded surrounded by several high dresses pinned to the walls, in a clean and minimalist set, creating an ambiance of refinement.

In this collection, the creative director offers a very feminine vision of the aesthetic spectrum.

The presentation begins with different khaki looks such as deconstructed trench coats, coats dresses, and elegant jumpsuits.

The designer also introduces a new moiré declined in a multitude of colors through several looks featuring long dresses in red, black and blue, a red bar jacket, or a midi dress with dark and blue shades.

Chuiri explores Cristian Dior’s legacy in a distinctive manner, making the pieces more wearable and comfortable for women these days.

Dior’s Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2024 Collection is a testament to Maria Grazia Chiuri’s creative prowess and her ability to transcend the boundaries of traditional haute couture. The collection seamlessly weaves together the timeless essence of Dior with a modern and feminine sensibility.
