CHET LO’S FW24 COLLECTION: ANCIENT WARRIORS RESURRECTED

By Crash redaction

Inspired by the awe-inspiring Terracotta Army unearthed in 1974, Chet Lo’s FW24 collection pays homage to the resilience and spirit of these ancient Chinese warriors. The iconic spikes of the brand take center stage, adorning hoodies, skirts, and trousers in a fusion of east-meets-west influences.

Lo’s creative reinterpretation features spikes evolving into ribbed knits, wool hybrids, and liquid metal-esque double-breasted jumpers. The color palette, inspired by Gerhard Ritcher, adds a modern twist to ancient aesthetics, with velvet Devoré tops showcasing repeating square patterns reminiscent of the soldiers’ armor.

Making its runway debut alongside the collection is the Chet Lo x Charles & Keith capsule collection, offering spiky variations of classic staples like ballet flats and sling-back heels – worn in the show with socks provided by Pantherella. This collaboration, available in Charles & Keith stores and online, seamlessly merges ancient inspiration with contemporary design, allowing fashion enthusiasts to embrace the timeless spirit of the Terracotta Army.
