COMME DES GARÇONS AND NIKE PRESENT THE DUNK LOW

By Crash

Comme des Garçons is continuing its ongoing collaboration with Nike, releasing a new unisex model today: the Dunk Low. The shoe was originally introduced during the Spring/Summer 2020 Comme des Garçons runway show and while its shape is already well known by sneaker-heads, the upper layer is made of Nexkin, a translucent stretch-woven fabric which is lightweight, breathable and easy to adapt for the foot.

The new generation Dunk Lows come in two different versions: a plain shoe with beige and black strips and a monogrammed one with bold white letters on a black all-over upper. The sole is chunky and black to finish it off. The transparent veil of fabric gives the shoe a vintage feel with less vibrant colors than usual, a sort of worn-in aesthetic. They are launching exclusively today at all Comme des Garçons and Dover Street Markets globally, DSM e-shops, followed by all of Comme des Garçons’ best wholesale clients.
