DELVAUX NOW IN PARIS

By Crash redaction

Since August, the Belgian leather luxury goods brand Delvaux has settled in two of the most prestigious Parisian department stores: the Galeries Lafayette and Le Bon Marché, and is now presenting its fall-winter 13-14 collection in two beautiful new corners.

Those openings came with a whole new visual concept, created by the artistic duo composed of Martine Feipel and Jean Bechamel, and by the Milanese architectural firm Vudafieri. A way for the oldest leather merchant in the world (1829) to show its modernity and generosity, trough its traditions; as it is also presenting some of its most iconic models declined in exotic hides such as alligator, python, shagreen or even crocodile, in the Galeries Lafayette’s Temporary Space, throughout the month of September.

According to this aspiration to revitalize a visionary heritage, some new Delvaux stores are about to open in the fall and in early 2014, in Doha, Tokyo, Seoul and Hong Kong.
