DISCOVER WHERE GUCCI WILL UNVEIL ITS CRUISE 2020 COLLECTION

By Crash

Today, Gucci has just announced some exciting news! The Italian house will present its cruise 2020 show in the Capitol Museums on May 28th, 2019. Alessandro Michele chose this area for a reason, the row of museums being a place he frequently visited as a child. It represents, like the other places he’s chosen in the past to showcase his collections, an important part of Italian history and a direct view into the past. More than their impressive architecture, all the museums offer an incredible view into ancient Rome with a big collection of antiques. Antiquity remains a staple in Michele’s catalogue of eras that inspire him and was already present in the pre-fall 2019 campaign, photographed in the archeologic sites of Pompei, Herculaneum and Sélinonte. Gucci makes the present dialogue with the past with curiosity and respect.
