Belgian artist Kristina de Coninck latest exhibition « Portraits and Fervor, » will open tomorrow Untitled 19. Comprised of new pieces made during the pandemic, the colorful pieces are made from wool silk and other fabrics. de Coninck has had a varied career. In 1989, thanks to Belgian fashion designers the « Antwerp Six » and Martin Margiela, she left Belgium for Paris with the hope of becoming a fashion model. She went on to model for brands such as Martin Margiela, Jean Paul Gaultier, Comme des Garçons, Yohji Yamamoto, Thierry Mugler and more. Alongside her modeling career she continues working on her art pieces. In 2009 de Coninck unveiled for the first time her artworks at Galerie Petrelle in Paris. She has had two solo exhibitions in Paris in 2018 and 2019, « Lana Fervor » at Nouvelle Affaire and «Lana Fervor 2 » at Untitled 19. At the same time de Coninck continues her modeling career.
