LVMH JOINS THE FIGHT AGAINST COVID-19

By Crash

Seeing as there is a high risk of shortage, Bernard Arnault has decided to ask the whole LVMH perfume branch to focus all its production on the fabrication of hydroalcoholic gel bottles to offer to hospitals and health facilities in need. Parfums Christian Dior, Guerlain and Parfums Givenchy will only be producing these vital products in large quantities. These gels are being shipped to the French sanitarian authorities since the beginning of the confinement, giving priority to the Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris. With this initiative, LVMH wants to make sure that France is well-stocked in everything that can help stop the spreading of the COVID-19 and encourage society to make the right choices. LVMH has also stated last week that it had found a Chinese manufacturer to produce ten million masks to send to France. The operation is set to be renewed whenever the needs exceed the offer. Bernard Arnault has stated that the company is financing the first week of shipping – which represents 5 million euros.
