MAUVAISES GRAINES OPENS TONIGHT AT 22VISCONTI

By Crash

A new exhibition is opening tonight at 22Visconti, art space run by Frank Perrin and Armelle Leturcq in the 6th arrondissement of Paris, an occasion to celebrate marginal creative minds who are shaping the future of contemporary art. Entitled « Mauvaises Graines », the show welcomes young artists Lukas Ionesco and his fiancée Clara Benador who work together on automatic drawings, photography and poems, Gil Lesage who has been photographing her relatives for more than twenty years, Pierre Lautier, Lou Lesage who crafts sensual ghostly women’s busts, Julia Champeau who delivers a sort of strange photographic diary and Pierre Emery who creates poetic distorted collages… all surrounding Frank Perrin who is presenting his new series « Blind Test » made of political images covered in braille.

« An untimely, irreverent exposure to a period of generalized control and domestication. A punk and protean kick in the conformism that surrounds us, with photos, drawings, paintings, videos, poems, ceramics, collages, music… The bad seeds freely attack all segments of creation… »
