BURBERRY AND GOSHA RUBCHINSKIY
By Crash redaction
“Burberry has always symbolised the epitome of classic British style to me. Their timeless pieces are the perfect balance to our modern streetwear creating a great mix. I’m very happy with the result of our collaborative work.” Gosha Rubchinskiy
Burberry has just proven once again its authenticity. His style is based on a perfect duality: this blend of classicism and modernity that elevates the brand to the rank of timelessness.
Indeed, for his last man PE18 collection, a few pieces were signed in collaboration with Gosha Rubchinskiy.
The Russian designer succeeded in gaining a foothold in the world of fashion by his sportswear universe, inspired by the former communist empire to create his own collections.
Together they have fashioned eight pieces by reinterpreting the British brand’s classics as the trench coat to revive it in an oversized and two-colored form, bombers or even shirts and shorts with gridded prints.
But the famous British hatter Stephen Jones also teamed up with Gosha to imagine the hats of the collection.
All pieces form part of Gosha’s latest collection, which will launch in January 2018.
