BORAMY VIGUIER PRESENTS A SHORT FILM FOR A/W 2021

By Crash

French designer Boramy Viguier likes to do things his own way, always fusing his personal tastes and obsessions in his collections, from the way he crafts pieces to the universe they evolve in. For Fall/Winter 2021, he went a step further, creating an incredible short movie set in a heroic fantasy world where surrealism and sacred elements collide. Filmed in the gorgeous Abbaye Royaumont, the film follows model Gracie Hartzel, DJ and producer Teki Latex and rapper & Kung Fu champion Mona Guba in a mysterious quest where the Boramy Viguier A/W 2021 pieces are revealed. Designed with specific characters in mind, they capture the essence of fantasy storytelling while retaining a current feel, whether it be in the upcyled production process or the smart details.

« Resurrection is a complex and interesting concept. Not only from a religious perspective. I am talking about the ability for every self to reinvent himself throughout life. To be able to reincarnate one self. To re-create a reality. I don’t want to create something real. I am not inspired by current events, youth, France, sexual freedom, … I find comfort in creations that imply fantasy, unconditional fantastic outcomes… » says the designer.
