CHRISTMAS CRYSTALLIZED BY SWAROVSKI AT THE MARK HOTEL NYC

A crystal-encrusted Christmas in New York City, as gingerbread has a hyper ornamental makeover, inspiring the Swarovski transformation of The Mark Hotel.

Kicking off the holiday season was a star-studded and bejeweled dinner. On November 14th, guests sat at tables adorned with large nutcrackers, holiday ornaments, and other crystal décor items stemming from the Signum collection, Swarovski’s tableware range created in collaboration with Rosenthal.

To Alexis Nasard Swarovski CEO “New York City is synonymous with the holidays, which makes this a natural partnership for us.”

This Christmas the Marks façade could be mistaken for a luxe gingerbread house, with two matching candy carts selling festive titbits. Designed by Swarovski Creative Director Giovanna Engelbert, to whom “Gingerbread evokes childlike wonder, inspiring us to dream, so it has been a great pleasure to design an experience that will spark people’s imaginations at this magical time of year.”

Inside the lobby, the gingerbread theme continues with a magnificent Christmas tree and jewelry showcases, tempting gift givers and receivers alike.
