Lafayette Anticipations new exhibition: AU-DELÀ, Rituels pour un nouveau monde

By Crash redaction

“How can we reconnect with the cycles of life? What spaces are left for life and death, and what do they allow? How to heal a wounded world?” These are just some of the questions La Fayette Anticipations’ new exhibition aims to answer.
Bringing works and artists together from all around the world the curator Agnes Gryczkowska imagined AU-DELÀ Rituels pour un nouveau monde as an experimental journey. A mind invading journey of different horizons, fields and periods that brings together not only art in the strict sense but also sculpture, music and fashion.

Within the exhibition we see site-specific work as objects that instead belong to ancient times. It is the relationship between the past and the present that unfolds, an inevitable confrontation that the exhibition represents with precision and detail. What is specified is that instead of contrasting the past, the exhibition wants to explore it and relate it to the present, uniting these two dimensions through the work of the different artists. The exhibition is like a ritual of metamorphosis; The subject of ritual, which accompanies us in every moment of life, tells a part of the history of our humanity; and the artists, with their artworks, represented in AU-DELÀ Rituels pour un nouveau monde, close the circle of this ritual of evolution.
