Nicolas Ghesquière continues his journey, marking a decade of creativity at Louis Vuitton,  the creative director unveiled on April 18th 2024, the Louis Vuitton Pre Fall 2024 collection in a runway show titled « voyager » in Shanghai.

The runway presented in the largest private museum in China, the Long Museum, is a spectacle of contrasts and harmonies, with each accessory and garment playing a role in this innovative narrative.

The Pre Fall 2024 collection takes elements from previous collections, reinvented with a freedom of tones and shapes such as retro-futuristic sleeveless jackets, biker leather pants, or skater skirts.

For this collection, the House collaborated with the young contemporary artist Sun Yitian showcasing an exuberance of colors and joy that celebrates the great stylistic energy of Chinese youth.

Accessories serving as narrative punctuations that tell the innovative saga of the renowned trunk maker. All iconic bags of the House such as La Petite Malle, Le Twist, Le Capucines or Le Dauphine write new chapters and return in supple versions. The Slim Trunk also joins the grand family of the House’s bags. They are vibrant witnesses of a long history that continues to evolve.

Louis Vuitton’s Prefall 2024 collection celebrates the past, present, and future, intertwining the brand’s heritage with the vibrant energy of Chinese culture and the artistic vision of Sun Yitian. Through this fusion, Ghesquière’s creative expedition at Louis Vuitton sails into new waters, bringing forth a collection that is both a tribute to the maison’s legacy and a bold step into the future.
