MEET THE EIGHT FINALISTS OF THE 11TH EDITION OF LVMH PRIZE

 The LVMH Prize for Young Fashion Designers revealed the eight talents who will compete for victory on September 10.

Out of this exceptional cohort, eight brands have emerged as finalists, These selected designers will have the opportunity to present their creations to the Jury during the final event slated for Tuesday, September 10th 2024, at Fondation Louis Vuitton.

Among these eight finalists, many are already well-known, and some have even won fashion prize, such as Dutch designer Duran Lantink (winner of the Special Prize at ANDAM 2023), as well as Marie Adam-Leenaerdt, Niccolò Pasqualetti, and Ellen Hodakova, who have showcased their collections during Paris Fashion Week. English designer Paolo Carzana and Irish designer Michael Stewart, with his brand Standing Ground, complete the list of fortunate finalists.

On the French side, it is designer Pauline Dujancourt who will have to impress the jury during the final next September.

The Jury, composed of renowned designers such as Jonathan Anderson, Maria Grazia Chiuri, Nicolas Ghesquière, Marc Jacobs, Kim Jones, Stella McCartney, Nigo, Silvia Venturini Fendi and newcomers such as Phoebe Philo and  Pharrell Williams, will select the winners from among these talented finalists. In addition to the main LVMH Prize, the Jury will also award the Karl Lagerfeld Prize and, for the first time, the Savoir-Faire Prize, recognizing excellence in craftsmanship, technical innovation, and sustainable practices.

Reflecting on the semi-final of the 11th edition of the LVMH Prize, the Jury noted the diversity and creativity showcased by the candidates. From meticulous handcrafting to eveningwear and circular fashion, the finalists demonstrated remarkable craftsmanship and a strong commitment to sustainability.

The LVMH PRIZE 2024 winner will be announced on September 10th, 2024 at Fondation Louis Vuitton.
